Q) How often do I need to add my nutrients?
A) Use fresh clean water; add the nutrients 2 capsules every 2 weeks with reservoir change. When in seedling stage (first 3 weeks add half capsule) as it is the highly sensitive stage of your plant. For reservoir 1 site and 2 site systems use 2 capsules per reservoir change no more than 3 capsules per reservoir change. Please note that mature plants 2 months plus+ can go with only one reservoir change a month but still not exceeding the nutrient capsule limit remember over supplying nutrients can lock out plant uptake and kill your plant! So remember to add accordingly to what your plant needs.
Q) How do I know what my PH is?
A) We do not offer PH test kits with our systems Due to the high price (varies where you are located.) however if you need to order one we can provide with an additional price. We recommend visiting your local hydroponic store for more reasonable prices.
Q) What number should my PH be?
A) We recommend your PH be at 5.5-6.0 that’s our recommended level, however other individual’s will tell you otherwise as we have done countless grows with this system and found that those levels work best (remember not many hydroponics systems on the market grow with such minimal water as we do so we highly recommend 5.5-6.0 )
Q) What should my water level be?
A) Ok this question can confuse most so I understand it needs to be very detailed on how I explain this. In the packaging we have included instructions on what your water level should be and a description on how to do it but here you go: When placing the plant in the net pot, there should be a small layer of rock” clay pebbles” below the plant stem inside the net pot. This way the stem isn't exposed directly to the splashing water. The net pot should be elevated slightly ABOVE the waterline but still close enough to allow the popping bubbles on the surface of the water to splash the bottom of the net pot. The clay pebbles in the net pot will wick up the necessary water to the plant stem, and the roots that grow will eventually crawl out of the net pot and down into the reservoir. I recommend placing as much of the stem in the net pot as possible while leaving one layer of rock below the stem. I do not recommend allowing the stem to remain below the waterline once past the clone stage or seedling stage questions or concerns please send an Email
Q) My reservoir is all gunky what do I use or do to clean it?
A) We offer a peroxide cleanser plus booster (sold separate) for your system it is a cleanser and nutrient booster for your reservoir and plants Amazing right! So considering this happens with systems that are usually NEGLECTED here we go
1) take your plant out place the net put in an inch of water so your roots do not dry out and avoid potential risk of air born disease!
2) dump out the reservoir water and fill and rinse to get majority of bulk particles
3) add 1 tsp. of cleanser plus booster solution and fill with moderately hot water
4) with a scrub brush preferably something with a flexible neck on it scrub clean all inside surfaces make sure this is done very through as any remaining gunk can repeat this situation as it spreads like wild fire
5) once clean simply rinse with cold water swish the water around in system and proceed to fill up with nutrient capsules as you would do when first starting the system (depending on circumstances you fill the water according to where your plant stage is)
